Give back to VSA Texas!by Silva Laukkanen
For 20 years, VSA Texas has worked with individuals with disabilities to give voice to a whole range of stories, memories, attitudes, and experiences not usually shared with the general public. As a teaching artist, I know firsthand how important creative outlets are for people with disabilities and VSA Texas works hard to make art accessible to everyone.
Consider a gift today and help me reach my goal of $100 to give back to VSA Texas! BE the reason someone dances. BE the reason someone follows their dreams.
$25 buys arts supplies for children attending one of our arts festivals like Art in the Park or White Cane Day.
$50 pays for provides professional development training for a teacher in the Creative Learning Initiative

$500 supports a Disabled Artist Veteran Writing Workshop
$1000 supports a 10-week teaching artist residency in a special education classroom.
Access to the Artsby Afra AlMussawir Mussawir
Visual arts, performing arts audio description, mixed ability dance projects, music, digital storytelling, Art in the Park -- VSA Texas is a lot of things to a lot of Texans, but what binds all these projects together is our mission: to make the arts more accessible to people of all ages with disabilities.
