Expand our Trauma focused Servicesby Kelli Hansen
We are working towards expanding our Trauma track for our inpatient substance use disorder treatment facility. Unaddressed, trauma increases the risk of worsening disorders significantly for those suffering and has a large impact on our community at large. With this fundraiser, I hope to get training's for staff of all levels in our agency on the trauma informed approach, training's for evidenced based interventions and curriculum, as well as increase our treatment beds to serve the people in our community that are in great need of these services. With the support of you and our greater community, those in need can heal and become healthy, productive members of society.

A Step Upby Rusty Hodges
Seeking donations for AA/NA approved literature for clients and classroom use. Learning to live clean and sober is challenging, and sometimes confusing. The message that recovering addicts and alcoholics receive must have depth and weight in order for recovery to be sustainable. Literature is just a small part of this message, but it is a substantial part.

Help Feed The Wild Babiesby Helen Laughlin
I have been rehabilitating wildlife for almost 11 years now, and the greatest effort in saving wild animals is feeding orphaned wild babies. These precious, helpless babies require special formula and nutritious food to grow into healthy adults so they can be released back to the wild. All Things Wild Rehabilitation buys formula from Fox Valley Animal Nutrition where it is made expressly to meet the nutritional needs of each species. Because it is so good, the formula is expensive. For example, one pound of powdered formula for baby cottontails, squirrels, and opossums costs $11.40 plus shipping. During a typical baby season, All Things Wild (ATW) rehabilitators will go through over 500 lbs of Fox Valley formula. Please help ATW buy nutritious formula for the baby wild animals.
American Gateways changed my life!by lisa nankafu
American Gateways revived the hope in me and gave me a chance to still believe in my dreams. As an immigrant, I personally experienced the fear of not knowing what tomorrow holds for me and the uncertainty of the future. American Gateways has changed my life forever. Thanks to this program I was granted asylum and I am now enrolled in college and pursuing my education. With a grateful heart, my mission has become to help those who are scared as I was and support them through volunteering with American Gateways. Immigrants need your support now more than ever! Any amount that you can give helps American Gateways in its mission.
Funding needed for players to travel to Ohio, NJ and NY for Development Sled Hockey Camps!by Mari Blair
The Austin Blades Sled Hockey team is growing. Since Sled Hockey isn't well known here in Austin Texas like it is up north and other areas of the U.S., the players have to travel to receive more training to become better players. We are working on making more awareness of Sled Hockey and also trying to recruit more physically challenged individuals to join our team. The Austin Blades mission is to empower children and adults that are physically-challenged by introducing them to the competitive sport of Sled Hockey, and provide them with an on-ice experience. Our goal is to get individuals with physical disabilities to take part in a competitive team sport, just like able-bodied individuals. We promote physical fitness, self-confidence, family values, and build personal and athletic skills in a positive team-building atmosphere. Comprised of both youth and adults, the Blades strive to expand awareness of Sled Hockey to the greater Austin area. Our motto is Nothing is Impossible!

Helping Those That Need it Mostby Debi Krakar
As the person in the organization who pays the bills, i am often forced to choose between helping another Veteran or child or young adult with a disability or paying our electric bill. Your donations help us provide services to those who can't contribute to the cost of a service dog or who can't afford to attend autism summer camp. You help us provide job training and placement for those that need subsidies just to pay for the gas to drive to training. No donation is to small. If you have $5 or $500 - every penny is appreciated. Your donations help us achieve more. Thanks for your generosity in helping others.
Velowayby HCIC Hill Country Inline Club
In 2009, the Hill Country Inline Club with Austin Parks Foundation and your support installed a shaded seating structure. Other enhancements over the past 8 years have included: Fixing the water drainage; installing bike racks; building 16 birdhouses and 3 owl boxes; creating the native plant garden; 2 rain gardens, planting Mt. Laurels and other trees, Installing Bat Houses, and 2 Purple Martin Stations, Bird feeding station, acquiring mirrors for safety around blind corners, marking dangerous cracks w/ red paint 3 times, acquiring signage for the park (donated by Signs West); general care, planting, clean up and maintenance. Have now gotten the Veloway re-surfaced and on an official maintenance plan with the city. These are all part of a commitment the HCIC has made since 2006 when we adopted the Veloway. Now, the HCIC needs your support to raise funds to continue the enhancements at the Veloway. There are many improvements in the works, installing bike fix it station including skate tools, installing more bird houses and owl boxes, 1 more mirror in last blind corner and the addition of a picnic area. Donations of all sizes help! No donation too small or too big!
Austin Pets Alive!by Jessica Peller
For the past 6 years, Austin Pets Alive! has paved the way for no-kill shelters across the country. They take on cats and dogs that most shelters would turn away, including animals with major behavioral and/or medical issues. The picture below is one of the puppies that was rescued at the Parvo ICU :) This non-profit organization relies heavily on volunteers and exclusively on donations, so please consider donating to this cause!
Saving one life at a time.by Rindy Fox
Through Bastrop Animal Rescue, my fellow foster parents and I are able to rescue dogs and cats from extreme conditions and the shelter, put them into foster care, and then find their forever homes. BAR, which is completely volunteer run depends solely on donations. All funds raised go to help the animals but adoption fees do not begin to cover the expenses of doing what we do. For example, Little Bit was scooped up in the middle of the night by volunteers, rescued from a home where she had been allowed to suffer in hard labor for days, unable to deliver puppies that were way too big for her little 6 pound body. She persevered outside in very cold weather with only a pile of leaves for bedding. Because of BAR, she was able to have the surgery at an emergency hospital that saved her life and is now a spunky little firecracker. Please donate to Amplify Austin so we can continue to save dogs like Little Bit, one life at a time.

Great Futures Start Here!!by Karin Waits
Please consider donating to the future! I have seen first hand the difference the Boys and Girls club makes in the lives of the kids. Not only is the club a safe place, but the skills, the education, the socialization, and the fun they receive is PRICELESS! I have heard the stories and the path of some club kids would be full of gloom. Fortunately the club provides so much for only an annual membership of $10. The Boys and Girls Club turns that gloom into lifelong skills and opportunity! Any donation to building the future will be appreciated!
