There are individuals with special needs and disabilities in our community whose families face financial hardships due to a variety of factors including therapy appointments, medication, high cost of insurance, and low income. With your generous support, together we will be able to help these families provide the opportunity for their child to participate in our fine arts enrichment programs including camps, workshops. sessions, and after-school programs, featuring: theatre arts; dance, music; arts and crafts; digital photography, and filmmaking.

Impact Statement

Joshua's Stage uses our The Creative Outlet Method™. The Creative Outlet Method™ is the process used to enhance every participant's unique abilities while providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and to increase their self-confidence. To foster and maintain a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, qualified staff and volunteers are trained to implement the CUPSS of The Creative Outlet Method™:

Create - create and conduct activities with our passion for the fine arts

Unique - celebrate every participant's unique abilities while recognizing their accomplishments with our "I Feel Good Applause"

Positive - develop and maintain a positive relationship with every participant

Support - support participants so that they encourage each other to achieve their best

Success - provide an environment for every participant to feel successful


Needs Statement

Your donation will help make a difference in the life of an individual with special needs by providing them with the opportunity to be enriched with the fine arts.

Your donation of $800.00 will provide the full tuition for one participant who would otherwise be financially unable to attend a month of summer camp all day.

Your donation of $400.00 will provide half the tuition for one participant who would otherwise be financially unable to attend a month of summer camp half day.

Your donation of $250.00 will provide the full tuition for one participant who would otherwise be financially unable to attend a nine-weeks session.

Your donation of $125.00 will provide half the tuition for one participant who would otherwise be financially unable to attend a nine-weeks session.

Your donation of $50.00 will support a participant who would otherwise be financially unable to attend a nine-weeks session and/or summer camp.

Joshua's Stage is seeking volunteers to support individuals with special needs, and we would love to have you! Volunteers should have: a passion for enriching the lives of individuals with special needs; experience working with children; strong inter-personal skills including a positive attitude and patience; creativity, and a strong interest and/or background in the performing arts.

Volunteering at Joshua's Stage includes: supporting and providing assistance to participants during class time
positively interacting with children and adults; working with the instructor to understand the activity prior to the start of the class; preparing classroom space and materials prior to the start of the class time; engaging in de-brief discussions following the completion of a class, and cleaning up materials following the completion of a class.
