Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.

Impact Statement

Due to the generous support of individuals, community groups and businesses in Austin, 100% of the 2,978 graves at Texas State Cemetery were remembered last December. Texas veterans, including 6 Medal of Honor recipients and a POW, along with other prominent Texans, were honored by over grateful 300 citizens that wanted to "say their names" and thank them for their service, as they placed each wreath. Please consider joining us this year by: Pre-sponsoring a wreath by #GivingTuesday-Nov 28th: Participating (unloading/staging-placing-picking up) and/or Promoting ("spread the word" that the government does NOT provide them).

Needs Statement

Every $15 sponsors a live balsam fir wreath that will be placed on a veteran grave.
"Seeing that wreath on my husband's gravesite brought tears to my eyes as I remembered and honored who he was as a person. Please thank the scouts for me for helping me to remember his presence.
He would have been tickled to see that it was young people who came to visit him with that wreath. We did not have our own children until much later in our marriage, and just two years before his death. But during his life he always found the time to be a kid again with other kids and would probably be with them in person if that had been his path.
Thank you does not come close to the memories and glad tidings you all inspired with your act of kindness".
