Trinity Child Development Center provides quality, affordable early child care and education to children within our economically and ethnically diverse community. We strive to provide stability and support to children in our care and families, so that together, we can truly impact future generations.
Trinity CDC is proud to be one of them. For over 50 years, Trinity CDC has been on the frontline of providing access to high quality education and care for the young children in the Northeast Austin community, especially for low-income children.
Each year Trinity CDC serves over 40 children both full-time and during the summer, and nearly 50% of the children are from low-income families that cannot afford to pay full tuition. In addition to our Trinity Cares Tuition Reduction Program, which provides tuition assistance to these families, we are committed to providing a livable wage and access to healthcare benefits to our highly-qualified educators.
Your investment will help support the healthy minds and bodies of our students and educators!
Impact StatementOver the past 50 years, Trinity CDC has been committed to providing high quality education and consistent learning environment to children. With a goal to raise whole children in a rich and stimulating environment, Trinity CDC adopts emergent curriculum where students play significant and active role in both planned and casual learning opportunities for their proper physical, social, emotional development.
Since 1964, over 900 children graduated with tools and skills to succeed in school and life. Over 96% of our children graduate ahead of their age in receptive language. With help from Trinity Cares Tuition Reduction Program, the turnover rate among enrolled children has remained at 0% for the past 15 years. Children and their families join a stable supportive community when they come to Trinity and that gives the children a firm foundation of school life to enrich their growth and confidence.
Your support will help us continue to provide a strong start for our children!
Needs StatementThis year, not only will your donation continue to support our early childhood programming, it will also help us with growing healthcare benefits costs for our educators. As the city changes and the population expands, many families are still struggling to find high quality affordable care. The need doesn't stop there. Statistics show that early learning professionals are often making low incomes and not receiving health benefits. Trinity CDC has been dedicated to providing healthcare for our highly qualified and credentialed professionals, this expense is increasing as time goes on and laws change.
A donation to Trinity CDC is an investment in the future of the community. You will directly support over 40 children served at Trinity CDC year-round, providing engaging programs and healthy nutrition to nurture their mind and body. Your donation will also provide our teachers with healthcare benefits while they continue to provide the best education possible for Austin's early learners!
How your donation can help:
$25 - feeds all Trinity CDC children nutritious snacks for 1 day
$50 - makes available one-weekly music class to all children
$75 - provides art & school supplies for a semester
$100 - supports one low-income child with a yearly supply fee
$500 - covers the cost of 1 month of healthcare benefits for 1 educator
$750 - assists in tuition reduction for 1 child for 1 month
Help us raise $15,000 through Amplify Austin, to continue to provide high-quality, affordable education for children of diverse needs and 100% paid health benefits to our deserving educators.
