Champ Wants to Amplify Lifelong Friends
One morning in August 2016 volunteers came to work at Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions to find Champ tied up to the railing outside the building. No note, no explanation. Just a sad, confused, hairless dog. When he was taken to the vet he was diagnosed with mange and an eye infection. Thus began a long recovery period of lots of medicated baths and daily eye drops. Throughout it all Champ lived up to the name we gave him, remaining calm and sweet, showing his paw for a treat, and earning a special place in all of the volunteers' hearts. Right now Champ is at obedience school getting ready to graduate so he can be the best friend to a family who will love him forever.
