For the first time this summer, students at Hart Elementary will discover new ways to ignite their passion through our acclaimed six-week summer learning and enrichment program. Students will participate in hands-on academic, physical and arts activities free of charge. The groundbreaking all-day, week-long program focuses on building resilient, healthy students who are ready for the next school year to start.

Send a child "abroad" for one week by donating $250. Or the entire camp of 6 weeks for $1,500!

Impact Statement

The program aims to reduce summer learning loss, reduce summer weight gain, and build resilient students who have the skills and traits needed to reach their potential--all while providing students with a memorable summer experience.

In 2016, our summer learning and enrichment program had strong results for students and families!

- 84 students engaged in over 240 hours of hands on academic and physical activities
- 6,358 steps were taken per student (35% increase in steps taken during the school year)
- 93% of families attended family engagement nights
- 100% of guardians said they would send their child to the program again
- 100% of students surveyed said they enjoyed the program and would return

Needs Statement

Through our summer learning and enrichment program, we provide a positive and lasting impact on these students by keeping them safe, engaged and active. We need your help to transform their time outside of the classroom into hours of opportunity!

The cost for a child to attend the Summer Learning and Enrichment Program for one week is $250.

Please join us as we raise the funds needed to deliver another unique and special program this summer benefiting the students at Pecan Springs, Harris, and Hart Elementary. Together, we can support our mission of providing enriching opportunities that will allow our youth to develop the skills they will need to succeed in and outside of the classroom.
The Andy Roddick Foundation is special to me because I feel like I can be myself and every day we learn new things. I have been with ARF for two years and have learned how communicate with other kids, learn how to be supportive to others, and responsibility.
Last spring I was able to go away to the first ever ARF Spring Break Camp. This was the first time I went to overnight camp. At Spring Break Camp we went kayaking, ziplining, played new games, learned about astronomy while looking at the stars, and spent time with my friends and camp leaders.
I am thankful for being in the Andy Roddick Foundation, because if I had not come I would not experience the new things I have gotten to do. Thank you ARF for being my big awesome family! - Mia in 5th Grade

After this is all said and done, and the program is over, we know that what we did actually made a difference. - Coach KC

Let's be honest, school can [only] do so much. And I appreciate everything the school is doing for my daughter but with this extra push that she [gets] from the Andy Roddick Foundation, she is being exposed to all these amazing things. It's just opening her brain. She's very smart! [Because of] the Andy Roddick Foundation, I was able to work full time, which helped me to keep up with [my] mortgage and pay my bills and all that. I appreciate everything that you are doing for all of us, and me personally, and my daughter, thank you. - Ingrid, Mom of Student
